Preparation Method :
- In a bowl, mix the dry fruits powder with cream.
- In a saucepan, combine water and sugar and cook till it becomes a thick sugar syrup.
- Cut away the edges of the bread and roll them thin using a rolling pin.
- Take one teaspoon of the dry fruit and cream mixture and put it in the middle of the rolled-out bread.
- Roll the bread and seal the sides and the open end using corn flour paste. Repeat this for all the 10 bread slices.
- In a frying pan, heat the oil and deep fry the rolls till its golden brown.
- One by one, dip the fried rolls in the syrup, leaving them only long enough to soak in the syrup.
- Take them out and spread out in the serving plate.
- Garnish with silver flakes and dry fruits.
INGREDIENTS
- 10 slices of fresh and soft white bread
- 100 grams of cashews and almond (crushed to powder)
- 1 tablespoon fresh cream
- 1 tablespoon corn flour; mixed in water to make a paste
- Cooking oil for frying
- 300 grams Sugar
- 200 ml water
- Silver flakes and dry fruits for garnishing
