Preparation Method :

  • Soak Toor dhal, Urad dhal, Gram dhal, Boiled rice and raw rice together and soak it for ½ an hour to 1 hour .
  • Grind the soaked ingredients along with the green chillies, red chillies, asafoetida and salt to a coarse mixture.
  • Add grated coconut and curry leaves and mix well.
  • Make the mixture as small balls.
  • In a deep frying pan,add oil and heat for 10 minutes.
  • Deep fry the balls till golden brown.
  • Remove excess oil in a drain paper and then serve.

  • 200 grams Toor dhal
  • 100 grams Urad dhal
  • 200 grams Gram dhal
  • 200 grams Boiled rice
  • 200 grams Raw rice    
  • 3 Red chillies   
  • 3 Green chillies
  • ½ teaspoon Asafoetida 
  • 1 sprig of Curry leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • 5 tablespoon coconut,grated
  • 200 grams of Cooking oil
