Preparation Method :
- Add all the ingredients with the bengal gram paste. Mix well and add little warm water if needed. Adjust seasoning with chilli and salt.
- Preheat a steamer and grease the container. Pour in the batter half filling the treated container. Cover and steam for about 5-7 minutes. Remove and cut into squares immediately.
- Heat little oil in a pan, add the whole green chillies, black mustard seeds and curry leaves. When the seeds starts to splutter, remove and pour over the steamed squares.
INGREDIENTS
- 550 grams Bengal gram, soaked, Drained and ground to a soft paste
- 200 ml warm water
- 50 ml IDHAYAM sesame oil
- 1" Ginger, chopped
- Few Green chillies, to taste, coarsely ground
- ¼ teaspoon, Sugar
- 1 teaspoon, Soda bicarbonate
- Juice of 4 lemons
- Salt to taste
Seasoning
- 1½ teaspoon, Black mustard seeds
- 5-6 Green chillies, whole, slit
- Few Curry leaves
