Preparation Method :
- Sift flours and chilli into medium bowl; stir in seeds. Stir in enough water to mix to a soft dough.
- Turn dough onto floured surface; knead until smooth. Cover and allow to stand for about 10-15 minutes. Divide dough into 12-14 portions.
- Shape each portion into a thin sausage. Coil sausages, flatten with palm of hand.
- Roll flattened coils on floured surface into rounds. Deep-fry in hot oil, turning once, until golden brown and puffed. Drain on absorbent paper.
INGREDIENTS
- 150 grams whole meal plain flour
- 100 ml warm water
- 90 grams white plain flour
- ½ teaspoon chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- Salt, to taste
- Cooking oil for deep-frying
