CORIANDER AND GROUND NUT VADA

Preparation Method :

  • Heat 3 teaspoons of oil, add garlic and chillies. Sauté for few seconds and then add water, sugar and salt. Allow it to boil.
  • Add gram flour and stir it continuously to avoid formation of lumps.
  • Add ground nuts and chopped coriander leaves. Mix it well.
  • When the mixture gets thickened. Switch off the flame.
  • Spread this prepared mixture on greased plate. Allow it to cool for some time and then cut into desired shapes.
  • Deep fry these cut pieces in the sesame oil and place it on the tissue to remove excess oil.
  • Garnish with few coriander leaves and serve it hot with green chutney or ketchup.

INGREDIENTS

  • 200 ml Sesame oil for frying
  • 200 grams gram flour
  • 100 grams chopped coriander leaves
  • 5 cloves of garlic chopped
  • 3-4 chillies chopped
  • 100 grams coarsely grounded roasted ground nut
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt to taste
