Preparation Method :
- Mix together rice flour, onion, garlic, ginger, chilly powder, salt, turmeric powder, and asafoetida.
- Mix in 1 teaspoon oil so that the mixture resembles bread crumbs.
- Dry roast the cashews in a kadai for 2-3 minutes to make them slightly crisp. Do not brown them.
- Mix the roasted cashews in the above mixture and set aside for 5 minutes.
- Heat the oil on medium flame. Once heated, add the cashews one by one into the kadai and fry till golden brown.
- Sprinkle chaat masala and pepper and toss (optional).
- Cool and store in an airtight container.

- 2-3 pods of garlic, finely chopped
- ½ inch ginger, finely grated
- ½ teaspoon chilli powder
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
- A pinch of asafoetida
- Salt to taste
- ½ teaspoon pepper powder
- ½ teaspoon chaat masala
