DHUSKA

Preparation Time :

Cooking Time :
30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Soak rice and channa dhal in water overnight.
  • Grind it by adding necessary water to make a Idly/Dosa batter consistency.
  • Add salt, coriander leaves, green chillies and green peas.
  •  Heat the mustard oil in a deep frying pan.
  • With the help of a laddle, take some mixture and pour it into the hot oil.
  •  The mixture will spread and puffs. Deep-fry till it turns golden brown on both sides.
  • Take out Dhuskas from the pan and place on an absorbent paper to drain out excess oil.
  • Serve hot with tomato chutney or mustard chutney. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 200 grams pre Boiled Rice
  • 200 grams Channa Dhal
  • 100 grams fresh Green Peas
  • 2 Green Chillies chopped finely
  • Salt to taste
  • 200 grams Mustard oil
  • 50 grams Coriander leaves chopped finely

    This dhuska is very famous in Jharkhand,& specially in holika dahan we are making this dish surely
