Preparation Method :
- Mix both flours with little water to make a thick paste.
- Chop onions into long thin slices and add to the batter.
- Heat oil, add a ladle of it to the batter, and mix well.
- Now take small amounts in your hand and deep fry until golden in colour.
- Place paper napkins in the vessel so that the oil is well absorbed by them.
- Serve hot with white coconut chutney.
INGREDIENTS
- 200 grams of Onion
- Cooking oil for frying
For batter
- 400 grams of chana dal flour
- 200 grams of Rice flour
- 2 teaspoon Chilly powder
- 1 teaspoon Asafoetida powder
- Soda bicarbonate a pinch
- Salt to taste
