Preparation Method :
- Rub ghee and baking soda until frothy in a mixing bowl.
- Add gram flour, rice flour, salt and all the chopped vegetables and green peas.
- Add sufficient water to form a thick batter.
- Heat the oil in a deep frying pan to smoking point. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil. Fry till golden and crisp.
- Drain on kitchen paper.
- Serve hot.
INGREDIENTS
- 150 grams Bengal gram flour
- 40 grams rice flour
- 1 tablespoon ghee
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- 4 green chillies, chopped fine
- 150 grams cauliflower
- 30 grams shelled green peas
- A small bunch of coriander leaves, chopped fine
- A few curry leaves
- 1 onion, chopped fine
- Cooking oil for deep drying
- Salt to taste
