Preparation Method :
- Make a stiff dough by using flour, water and ghee. Allow the dough to rest for about an hour or two in the fridge.
- Divide the dough into equal-sized balls. Shape each ball into a small cup; fill a spoonful of filling into the hollow, pinch together to seal and shape like small patties, deep-fry till golden. Serve hot.
- Stuffing: Heat the ghee in a pan cook the green pea paste with salt, red chilli powder and the roasted powder. Keep aside.
INGREDIENTS
- 500 grams Green peas, shelled, rinsed and ground to paste
- 225 grams refined flour
- 2 tablespoon Ghee
- 50 ml water
- 1 tablespoon Cumin seeds, roasted and powdered
- 1 tablespoon Green cardamom, roasted and powdered
- 1 tablespoon red chilli powder
- 2 tablespoon ghee
- Dry red chillies, to taste, roasted and powdered
- Salt to taste
- Cooking oil / Ghee for frying
