Preparation Method :
- Peel the green bananas and grate them.
- Heat a pan and boil the grated green bananas and strain water and keep it aside.
- After a while, when bananas cool down, mash it.
- Mix the mashed bananas and paneer.
- In a bowl, add maida, ajwain, little sesame oil, a pinch of salt and black pepper powder and add water to knead dough and keep it aside for some 15-20 minutes.
- Heat a pan, add sesame oil, add hing, ginger garlic paste and stir it for about 5 minutes.
- Add green banana paneer mixture and stir it well for again 5 minutes and then add red chilli powder, black pepper powder, salt as per taste.
- Then add cinnamon powder, amchur powder and then add roughly crushed almonds and cashew nuts and cook it for 2-4 minutes and then set aside.
- Make small balls out of the dough.
- Roll out like roti and cut from one side and make a cone like samosa and fill in the green banana mixture in it.
- Seal the edges with oil and deep fry it.
- Serve hot with pudina chutney.
INGREDIENTS
- 4 green bananas, finely grated
- 100 grams paneer, finely mashed
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper powder as per taste
- 1 tablespoon Red chilli powder
- 1 tablespoon Cinnamon powder
- 1 tablespoon Ginger garlic paste
- ½ tablespoon amchur powder
- ½ tablespoon hing
- IDHAYAM Sesame Oil for frying
- 8-10 raisins
- 5-6 almonds and cashew nuts roughly crushed
- 200 grams maida
- ½ tablespoon ajwain
- Water for kneading dough
