CRISPY SAMOSA

Preparation Method :

  • Mix all the ingredients of preparing dough and mash it with water to make a hard dough.
  • For filling, heat oil in wok. Add Cashews, Raisins, Boiled peas and fry for a minute.
  • Add mashed potatoes, Garam Masala, Amchoor Powder, Salt, Green coriander leaves and fry the mixture for 10 minutes. 
  • After 10 minutes, keep it aside and let it cool down.
  • Make small balls of dough and prepare oval chapatis shapes with them. Cut the chapatti in two parts. Spread some oil on the borders of the dough.
  • Place the filling in every part and roll the mixture in shape of a samosa (Triangle shape).
  • Deep fry them in the Wok.
  • Serve them Hot with Green Chutney.

INGREDIENTS

For Dough

  • 400 grams All purpose flour
  • 1 Teaspoon Ajwain
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoonIDHAYAM sesame oil

For Filling

  • 5 Boiled and Mashed potatoes
  • 200 grams Boiled Peas
  • 1 Spoon raisins
  • 10 Cashew nuts divided in halves
  • Salt according to taste
  • 1 Teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 1 Teaspoon Dry Amchoor powder
  • 100 grams Green Coriander leaves
  • 2 tablespoons IDHAYAM sesame oil
