Preparation Method :
- Mix all the ingredients of preparing dough and mash it with water to make a hard dough.
- For filling, heat oil in wok. Add Cashews, Raisins, Boiled peas and fry for a minute.
- Add mashed potatoes, Garam Masala, Amchoor Powder, Salt, Green coriander leaves and fry the mixture for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, keep it aside and let it cool down.
- Make small balls of dough and prepare oval chapatis shapes with them. Cut the chapatti in two parts. Spread some oil on the borders of the dough.
- Place the filling in every part and roll the mixture in shape of a samosa (Triangle shape).
- Deep fry them in the Wok.
- Serve them Hot with Green Chutney.
INGREDIENTS
For Dough
- 400 grams All purpose flour
- 1 Teaspoon Ajwain
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoonIDHAYAM sesame oil
For Filling
- 5 Boiled and Mashed potatoes
- 200 grams Boiled Peas
- 1 Spoon raisins
- 10 Cashew nuts divided in halves
- Salt according to taste
- 1 Teaspoon Garam Masala
- 1 Teaspoon Dry Amchoor powder
- 100 grams Green Coriander leaves
- 2 tablespoons IDHAYAM sesame oil
For Frying
- 600 ml IDHAYAM sesame oil for frying Samosas
