Preparation Method :
- In a large frying pan, heat butter; add chillies and onions and sauté on medium heat till onion turns translucent.
- Add tomatoes, chilli powder and Garam masala powder and sauté for another 2 to 3 minutes.
- Mix in chaat masala powder, potatoes, Chana, salt, green mango, coriander and lime juice and stir-fry for 1 minute.
- Distribute the chaat among 4 plates. Serve immediately.
INGREDIENTS
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 Green Chilies, finely chopped
- 100 grams finely chopped Onions
- 150 grams finely chopped Tomatoes
- ½ teaspoon Red Chili powder (optional)
- ½ teaspoon Garam masala powder
- 1 tablespoon Chat masala powder
- 100 grams finely chopped boiled Potatoes
- 200 grams tender green Chickpeas (hara chana), boiled OR
- 200 grams brown/black Chickpeas (kala chana), boiled
- 1½ tablespoons unripe green mango, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh Coriander, finely chopped
- 4 teaspoons Lime juice
- Salt to taste
