                    Preparation Method :
- Smear the cut edge of the chillies with salt and jeera powder and set aside.
 - In a bowl mix besan with salt and a pinch of baking soda and mix to make a thick batter.
 - In a deep frying dish heat oil.
 - Dip each slit chilli in the besan batter and release in the hot oil; deep fry on medium heat till golden brown, drain oil and remove from oil.
 - Serve hot.
 
INGREDIENTS
- 12 Chillies (Rinsed, dried, Slit lengthwise, keeping the stalk)
 - 200 ml IDHAYAM MANTRA Peanut Oil for deep frying
 - 2 teaspoon cumin powder
 - 150 grams Besan
 - Salt for besan batter to taste
 - Pinch of baking soda
 - Salt for chillies to taste
