RAW PAPAYA SALAD

Preparation Time :
10 minutes

Cooking Time :
5 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil in a pan; add asafoetida and mustard seeds. When they start spluttering, add green chillies and sauté.
  • Add all the remaining ingredients and mix well, remove from heat. Keep aside to cool. Serve cold.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 grams small raw papaya, peeled, coarsely grated
  • 2 tablespoon groundnuts, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Cooking oil
  • 2 teaspoon green coriander, finely chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon mustard seeds
  • 5-6 green chillies slit
  • ¼ teaspoon cumin seeds
  • ¼ teaspoon sugar
  • 1 juice of lemon
  • A pinch asafoetida  
  • Salt to taste
