- Steam the broccoli florets over boiling water for 5 minutes until bright green and still crisp. Put in a bowl with the water chestnuts.
- Whisk together the remaining ingredients, season and pour over the broccoli, turning well to coat.
- Cover and leave to marinate at room temperature for at least 1 hour before serving.
INGREDIENTS
- 500 grams broccoli florets
- 200 grams water chestnuts, halved
- 2 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 4 tablespoon tamari
- 5 tablespoon sesame oil
- ½ inch piece fresh root ginger, crushed in a garlic press
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, toasted
