Preparation Method :
- Mix the yogurt, fennel and sugar, adjust seasoning with salt to taste. Chill.
- Heat the oil and fry the remaining ingredients. When the chilli turns dark, pour the oil and spices over the yogurt and mix. Cover and chill before serving.
INGREDIENTS
- 500 ml plain yogurt
- 50 ml Cooking oil
- 1dried red chilli
- ½ teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground fennel seeds
- A pinch of ground turmeric
- ½ teaspoon granulated sugar
- ½ teaspoon cumin seeds
- Few curry leaves
- A pinch of asafoetida
- Salt, to taste
