SMOKED ONION AND TOMATO RAITA

- Add the chopped onion, tomato, pepper, cloves and salt to the whisked yogurt and mix.
- Heat a charcoal piece over the flame till it becomes flaming red in most parts.
- Place the charcoal in a steel or brass katori (a small bowl), put it in the centre of the yogurt relish and cover for 5 minutes.
- Remove the cover. Transfer to a nice serving bowl and serve.
INGREDIENTS
- 50 grams tomato, chopped
- ½ teaspoon peppercorns, crushed
- 500 grams yogurt, whisked
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 cloves, crushed
- A piece of charcoal
- Salt, to taste
