- Heat the oil and fry the okra till golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and place on absorbent paper.
- Add salt, red chilli powder, powdered fennel seeds, asafoetida, green chillies, and fresh green coriander to whisked yogurt. Transfer to serving bowl.
- Sprinkle the okra mixture over the yogurt and serve.
INGREDIENTS
- 500 grams yogurt, whisked
- 150 grams okra, washed and sliced thin
- 50 ml Cooking oil
- ½ teaspoon red chilli powder, coarsely ground
- ½ teaspoon fennel seeds, roasted and powdered
- A small pinch of asafoetida
- 3 green chillies, chopped
- A few sprigs of fresh green coriander, chopped
- Salt, to taste
