GRAPE AND WALNUT RAITHA
Refreshing raithas are served to cool the effect of hot curries. Cucumber and mint raitha is the best-known combination. Here is a refreshing fruit and nut version, which is particularly good with beef curries.

Preparation Method :
- Place the yogurt in a chilled bowl and add the grapes and walnuts.
- Slice the bananas directly into the bowl and fold in gently before they turn brown.
- Add the sugar, salt and ground cumin, and gently mix them.
- Chill, and just before serving, sprinkle on the cumin seeds, chilli powder, or paprika.
INGREDIENTS
- 350 ml natural (plain) yogurt
- 75 grams seedless grapes
- 50 grams shelled walnuts
- 2 firm bananas
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- Salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground cumin seeds
- ¼ teaspoon freshly roasted cumin seeds, chilli powder or paprika, to garnish
