AROMATIC ORANGE MUSHROOM RICE

Preparation Method :
- Soaks the rice in water half an hour before cooking.
- Semi cook the rice with salt and keep aside.
- Heat the oil in a wok. Add the whole measles (cardamom cinnamon dry chilli and bay leaf).
- Then add the mushrooms and oregano. Cook for a minute.
- Now in a deep saucepan pour the rice. Add the mushrooms mint leaves chopped coriander and the orange juice.
- Cover it for 15 minutes till the juice gets totally absorbed in rice.
- Then add the saffron milk and cook for more 2 minutes. Serve hot.
INGREDIENTS
- 200 grams long grain basmati
- 200 grams orange juice
- 30 button mushrooms cut into halves
- 2 tablespoon oregano
- 100 ml saffron soaked milk
- 1 large onion chopped
- Few mint leaves
- 2 cardamoms
- 2 cinnamons
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 dry red chilli
- Few green chillies
- 3 tablespoon IDHAYAM sesame oil
