RAW MANGO RICE

Preparation Time :
40 minutes

Cooking Time :
30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Cook the rice and make sure that each grain of the cooked rice is separate.
  • Grate mango for 400 grams.
  • Grate coconut for 50 grams.
  • Remove outer skin of roasted peanuts.
  • Coarsely grind: mango, coconut, turmeric powder and red chillies.
  • Heat oil and splutter mustard seeds. Then add the jeera. Now add peanuts, curry leaves, and the ground masala.
  • Stir for 2 minutes until the masala thickens.
  • Now add the rest of the grated mango, salt, hing powder and ghee. Remove from fire and mix with rice.
  • This rice is tangy and different.
  • Serve hot with Papads.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams of rice
  • 1 kg raw mango
  • 6 Red chillies
  • 100 gram of coconut
  • 2 teaspoon of asafoetida
  • 100 gram of roasted peanuts
  • 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds
  • 1 teaspoon of jeera
  • A few of curry leaves
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 4 tablespoon ghee
  • 4 tablespoon Cooking oil
  • Salt to taste
