Preparation Method :
- Cook the rice and make sure that each grain of the cooked rice is separate.
- Grate mango for 400 grams.
- Grate coconut for 50 grams.
- Remove outer skin of roasted peanuts.
- Coarsely grind: mango, coconut, turmeric powder and red chillies.
- Heat oil and splutter mustard seeds. Then add the jeera. Now add peanuts, curry leaves, and the ground masala.
- Stir for 2 minutes until the masala thickens.
- Now add the rest of the grated mango, salt, hing powder and ghee. Remove from fire and mix with rice.
- This rice is tangy and different.
- Serve hot with Papads.
INGREDIENTS
- 500 grams of rice
- 1 kg raw mango
- 6 Red chillies
- 100 gram of coconut
- 2 teaspoon of asafoetida
- 100 gram of roasted peanuts
- 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon of jeera
- A few of curry leaves
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 4 tablespoon ghee
- 4 tablespoon Cooking oil
- Salt to taste
