Preparation Method :
- Cook rice.
- Chop green chilies fine.
- Squeeze, lime juice for 2 tablespoons.
- Heat oil, and allow mustard seeds to splutter; add chana dal, and fry. Now add curry leaves, hing powder, green chillies, turmeric powder and salt.
- Remove from flame and add the lime juice.
- Add cooked rice and ghee; mix well.
- serve with Lemon Pickle.
INGREDIENTS
- 500 grams of rice
- A pinch of turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon of asafoetida
- A few curry leaves
- ½ teaspoon of mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon of chana dal
- 1 teaspoonIDHAYAM sesame oil
- 5 Green chillies
- 4 tablespoon of lime juice
- 2 teaspoon of ghee
- Salt to taste
