Preparation Method :
- Cook rice; each grain of the cooked rice should be separate.
- Grate coconut for 300 grams.
- Fry the cashews in Ghee till golden brown.
- Add oil and allow mustard seeds to splutter first; then add red chillies, broken urad dal and fry.
- Add curry leaves and coconut and fry until light golden in color. Add salt, ginger and asafoetida powder and mix well, now add cashew and mix with rice.
- Serve hot.
INGREDIENTS
- 600 grams of rice
- 300 grams of coconut
- 3 tablespoons of Splited cashews
- 1/2 teaspoons mustard seeds
- 1/2 teaspoons broken urad dal
- 1 teaspoon ginger
- 2 teaspoons asafoetida powder
- 2 teaspoon coconut oil
- A few curry powder
- 2 teaspoon of ghee
- 2 red chilies
- Salt to taste
