BLACK PEPPER AND JEERA RICE

Preparation Time :
40 minutes

Cooking Time :
30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Roast black pepper and asafoetida in ghee and powder with jeera.
  • Cook rice.it should be cooked half.then only each the rice grain will be separate
  • Melt a teaspoon of ghee, and allow the mustard seeds to splutter; take off fire and add curry leaves.
  • Add rice, the powder, salt and mix well; melt the rest of the ghee and add to the rice.
  • Serve hot. 

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 kg of rice
  • 4 tablespoon of black pepper
  • 4 tablespoon of jeera
  • 4 teaspoons of asafoetida
  • 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds
  • A few of curry leaves
  • 4 tablespoon of ghee
  • Salt to taste
