SAMAK KE CHAWAL

Serves :

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Wash rice 2-3 times. Keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add cumin seeds. When cumin seeds turns brown, add green chillies and ginger. Add salt.
  • Add washed rice and 1½ cups water. Pressure cook to give one whistle. Remove from heat.
  • Let it remain covered for 10 minutes, till the pressure drops by itself.
  • Remove to a serving dish. Garnish with green chillies and green coriander leaves.

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 200 gram Samak rice
  • ½ "piece ginger - chopped finely
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 3 green chillies - slit lengthwise
  • 3 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 1 ½ teaspoon salt

Garnish

  • 3 green chillies - slit lengthwise
  • Few  fresh coriander leaves
