Preparation Method :
- Wash rice 2-3 times. Keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker. Add cumin seeds. When cumin seeds turns brown, add green chillies and ginger. Add salt.
- Add washed rice and 1½ cups water. Pressure cook to give one whistle. Remove from heat.
- Let it remain covered for 10 minutes, till the pressure drops by itself.
- Remove to a serving dish. Garnish with green chillies and green coriander leaves.

- 200 gram Samak rice
- ½ "piece ginger - chopped finely
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 3 green chillies - slit lengthwise
- 3 tablespoon Sesame oil
- 1 ½ teaspoon salt
Garnish
- 3 green chillies - slit lengthwise
- Few fresh coriander leaves
