PEA AND MUSHROOM PULAO

Serves :

Preparation Time :
40 minutes

Cooking Time :
25 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • In a medium heavy pan, heat the oil and add the spices, garlic and salt with tomato and mushrooms.
  • Stir-fry for about 2 minutes.
  • Drain the rice thoroughly add it to the pan with the peas. Stir gently, without breaking up the grains of rice.
  • Add the water and bring to the boil. Lower the heat, cover and continue to cook for at least 20 minutes.
  • Fluff up the rice with a Spoon into a dish and serve it.

INGREDIENTS

  • 400 grams basmati rice
  • 1 tablespoon Cooking oil
  • ½ teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 2 black cardamom pods
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 3 garlic cloves, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced
  • 50 grams white button mushrooms
  • 100 grams petits pois
  • 650 ml water
