PEA AND MUSHROOM PULAO

Preparation Method :
- In a medium heavy pan, heat the oil and add the spices, garlic and salt with tomato and mushrooms.
- Stir-fry for about 2 minutes.
- Drain the rice thoroughly add it to the pan with the peas. Stir gently, without breaking up the grains of rice.
- Add the water and bring to the boil. Lower the heat, cover and continue to cook for at least 20 minutes.
- Fluff up the rice with a Spoon into a dish and serve it.
INGREDIENTS
- 400 grams basmati rice
- 1 tablespoon Cooking oil
- ½ teaspoon cumin seeds
- 2 black cardamom pods
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 3 garlic cloves, sliced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 medium tomato, sliced
- 50 grams white button mushrooms
- 100 grams petits pois
- 650 ml water
