KUMBI BHUTTAY KA PULAO

Preparation Time :

Cooking Time :
25 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Wash the rice, drain and set aside. Heat the butter with the oil and fry the chopped onions until golden brown.
  • Add in the whole spices and salt and stir-fry for about 2 minutes.
  • Now add rice, mushrooms and corn, continue to stir-fry for further 1 minute.
  • Add the water and bring to the boil, cover and cook over a low heat for 20 minutes , till the rice is cooked.
  • Let the rice stand for about 5 minutes before serving.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 black peppercorns
  • 500 grams basmati rice    
  • 3 green cardamoms
  • 50 grams unsalted butter    
  • 3 cloves
  • 1 tablespoon Cooking oil    
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 medium onion, peeled and chopped    
  • 125 grams mushrooms, sliced
  • 120 grams sweetcorn
  • 2 bay leaves    
  • 700 ml water
