HARA MASALA PULAO

Preparation Method :
- Soak the brown rice in water for 2 hours. Drain and set aside.
- Make the paste by grinding all the paste ingredients together. Set aside.
- Heat a non-stick pan. Add the cinnamon, cloves, green cardamoms and onion. Cook until light brown, stirring continuously.
- Add the drained rice and continue to saute for 5 minutes.
- Add the prepared paste and salt. Stir-fry for 5 minutes.
- Add the vegetable stock and bring to the boil. Cook, covered, on a low heat until the rice is done.
INGREDIENTS
- 500 grams brown basmati rice
- 1" stick cinnamon
- 6 cloves
- 5 green cardamom pods
- 2 medium-sized onion, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 litre vegetable stock
For the paste:
- 100 grams fresh coriander leaves, chopped
- 10 garlic cloves, chopped
- 5cm piece root ginger, chopped
- 4 green chillies, chopped
