Preparation Method :
- Soak the fenugreek seeds in water and grind to a fine paste.
- Mix the curd with the salt and the fenugreek paste in a large bowl.
- Soak the slit green chillies in the curd mixture atleast for 3 days.
- Shake the bowl every day.
- After 3 days remove the green chillies, place them on a tray and dry in the sun for the entire day. In the evening resoak the partly dried chillies in the curd mixture.
- Continue this process every day till all the curd mixture is completely absorbed.
- Dry the green chillies till they turn cream in colour.
- Store in an airtight container and use when required. Fry in oil till black in colour.

- 250 grams Salt, or to taste
- 750 grams green chillies, slit lengthwise without removing the stalk
