Preparation Method :
- Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and fenugreek seeds. When the spices crackle, add the asafoetida, turmeric powder and green chillies, and saute for 3 minutes.
- Stir in the sugar, lime juice and salt, and cook till the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and leave to cool completely.
- Serve immediately, or store in the refrigerator for 3 days.
