Preparation Method :
- Grind garlic, ginger, cumin and green chilies to a thick rough paste. Do not add water.
- Add salt, chili powder, turmeric and lemon juice to the paste.
- Apply half of the paste nicely on all the paneer pieces. Keep the left over paste aside.
- Grill this paneer on a greased wire rack and grill for about 10 minutes till it is dry and slightly crisp. Keep aside till serving time.
- At serving time, heat oil in a kadhai. Fry onion and capsicum rings and salt for a few minutes till onions turn transparent. Keep aside a few capsicum rings for garnishing.
- Add the ginger paste and few drops of lemon juice with black salt.
- Add paneer pieces. Sprinkle tandoori masala. Toss for a minutes till the paneer turns soft and is heated properly.
- Serve immediately, garnished with the capsicum rings kept aside.

- ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder or a pinch of red colour
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 50 ml sesame oil
- 2 capsicums -cut into fine rings
- 2 onions - cut into fine rings
- ¼ teaspoon black salt
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons tandoori masala
Grind To A Rough Paste Without Any Water
- 1½ " piece ginger
- 3 green chilies
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 4 flakes garlic
