TIL PANEER

Preparation Time :
35 minutes

Cooking Time :
20 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Sprinkle salt or chat masala on both sides of paneer and keep it aside.
  • Heat oil on medium heat in a wok or pan.
  • Dip the paneer pieces in the batter and toss in the coating mixture to coat all sides.
  • Fry the paneer pieces, one at a time until crisp. Drain on paper napkins to absorb excess oil. Serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 grams paneer- cut into slices

Batter

  • Mix all the ingredients in a shallow flat bowl
  • 4 tablespoons maida
  • 3 flakes garlic - crushed
  • 75 ml water
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon chat masala
  • Salt to taste

Coating

  • Mix all the ingredients in a flat platter
  • 50 grams breadcrumbs
  • 50 grams sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon semolina
  • Pinch of dry orange red colour
  • Cooking oil for frying
