Preparation Method :
- Sprinkle salt or chat masala on both sides of paneer and keep it aside.
- Heat oil on medium heat in a wok or pan.
- Dip the paneer pieces in the batter and toss in the coating mixture to coat all sides.
- Fry the paneer pieces, one at a time until crisp. Drain on paper napkins to absorb excess oil. Serve hot.
INGREDIENTS
- 250 grams paneer- cut into slices
Batter
- Mix all the ingredients in a shallow flat bowl
- 4 tablespoons maida
- 3 flakes garlic - crushed
- 75 ml water
- ½ teaspoon chili powder
- ½ teaspoon chat masala
- Salt to taste
Coating
- Mix all the ingredients in a flat platter
- 50 grams breadcrumbs
- 50 grams sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon semolina
- Pinch of dry orange red colour
- Cooking oil for frying
