Preparation Method :
- Mix paneer, cheese, poppy seeds, salt, red chili powder and cornflour till smooth.
- Add the onion-spice paste to paneer mixture and shape into round tikkis.
- Cook on both sides evenly, on a griddle, using 1 tablespoon oil. Serve hot.
INGREDIENTS
- 250 grams paneer - grated
- 100 grams grated cheese
- 2 teaspoons poppy seeds(khus khus)
- ½ teaspoon red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- 3 tablespoons cornflour
Onion - Spice Paste (Grind All The Ingredients Without Water)
- 2 tablespoons roasted peanuts
- 2 blades nutmeg (javitri)
- Seeds of 4 green cardamoms(chhoti illaichi)
- 4 cloves(laung)
- 4 flakes garlic - dry roast on a tawa till golden brown
- 1 onion - cut into slices and deep fried till brown and crisp
