Preparation Method :
- Add gram flour, curd, salt, chili powder and lemon juice to the paste with food colour.
- Take a bowl, add in the paste and the paneer pieces, mix well so as to coat the paste on all the pieces.
- Add the onion and capsicum pieces also and mix lightly. Keep aside .
- Heat the oil in a deep frying pan . Deep fry 3-4 paneer pieces at a time till slightly crisp. Keep aside till serving time.
- At the time of serving, heat the oil in a wok or pan. Add onion and capsicum pieces, stir for a few minutes till onions turn soft.
- Add tomato puree and adjust seasoning, cook for a minute on low heat.
- Add paneer pieces, sprinkle garam masala. Toss till the paneer turns hot and soft. Serve immediately.

- 300 grams paneer - cut into medium size cubes
- 3 tablespoons gram flour
- 2 tablespoons curd
- Salt
- ½ teaspoon red chili powder
- A few drops orange red colour
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 capsicums - cut into 1" pieces
- 2 onions - cut into 1" pieces
- 1 tablespoon tomato puree
- 40 mlIDHAYAM sesame oil
- ½ teaspoon garam masala
- 1½" piece ginger
- 4 flakes garlic
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- Seeds of 2 green cardamoms
- 3 green chilies
- 2 tablespoons chopped coriander
