QUICK STIR FRIED PANEER

Preparation Method :

  • Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin and red chilies,sauté till the cumin turns golden.
  • Add onion and capsicum, stir fry for about a minute till slightly cooked.
  • Add coriander powder, garam masala and ½ teaspoon salt.
  • Add in tomato puree and paneer,stir till the paneer is well coated. Adjust the seasoning.
  • Add tomato slices, coriander and shredded ginger. Mix and remove from heat and Serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 grams paneer - cut into finger-batons 
  • 50 ml Cooking oil
  • ½ teaspoon cumin seeds 
  • 2 dry, red chilies - broken into pieces & deseeded
  • 1 onion - sliced thinly
  • 1 capsicum - deseeded & cut into thin finger-batons 
  • 1 tomato - cut into four lengthways, remove pulp and cut into thin long pieces
  • 2 tablespoons tomato puree
  • ¼ teaspoon coriander powder
  • ¼ teaspoon red chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt to taste 
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green coriander 
  • 1" piece ginger - shredded or cut into match sticks
