PANEER KADHAI WAALA

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil in a wok or pan. Add onions and cook till brown. Add capsicum, stir- fry for 2 minutes. Remove from wok and it keep aside.
  • Heat 2 tablespoons oil in the pan, add in crushed garlic. Cook till light brown.
  • Add powdered kadhai masala. Cook for ½ minute.
  • Then add in grated ginger and tomato puree.
  • Gradually add in the curd, stirring continuously. Finally add kasoori methi, paneer, fried onions and capsicum. Cook for about 5 minutes. Adjust seasoning and serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 200 grams paneer - cut into 1" cubes
  • 4 onions - cut into rings
  • 1 capsicum - cut into rings 
  • 2" long, piece of ginger - grated
  • 6 flakes garlic - crushed 
  • 3 tablespoons tomato puree
  • 200 ml thick curd - well beaten 
  • 2 teaspoons dry fenugreek leaves 
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 pinches sugar
  • 5 tablespoonsIDHAYAM sesame oil

Kadhai Masala (Grind to a powder)

  • 2 teaspoon coriander seeds
  • 3 dry red chilies 
  • ¼ teaspoon fenugreek seeds 
  • 4 pepper corns
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
