CHILI PANEER WITH PEPPERS

Preparation Method :
- Mix maida, cornflour, pepper and salt. Add enough water, to make a batter of a thick pouring consistency.
- Dip paneer in the batter and deep fry to a golden brown colour. Keep aside.
- Heat 2 tablespoons oil. Fry the green chilies and garlic for a few seconds.
- Add onion and stir for a minute.
- Reduce heat. Add soya sauce, chili sauce, tomato ketchup and vinegar. Stir.
- Add salt, pepper and ajinomoto with capsicums. Stir fry for 2 minutes.
- Add the fried paneer and coriander. Mix well. Remove from heat. Serve.
INGREDIENTS
- 250 grams paneer - cut into cubes
- 1½ tablespoon cornflour
- 1½ tablespoon maida (plain flour)
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 green pepper - cut into ¾" pieces
- 1 red or yellow pepper - cut into ¾" cubes
- 1 small onion - cut into 4 pieces and separated
- 3 teaspoons soya sauce
- 1 teaspoon chili sauce
- 3 tablespoons tomato ketchup
- ½ tablespoon vinegar
- 2 chilies - chopped finely
- 4 flakes crushed garlic - optional
- 2 tablespoons fresh coriander - chopped
- ¼ teaspoon each of ajinomoto
- ½ teaspoon each of salt and pepper
