ACHAARI PANEER

Preparation Time :

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Heat oil. Add the masala seeds together to the hot oil. Let them crackle for 1 minute.
  • Add onions and chopped green chilies. Cook till onions turn golden brown.
  • Add turmeric and garlic-ginger paste, sauté for 30 seconds. Then add in paneer cubes.
  • Gradually add in the curd and keep stirring. Add in amchur and salt, cook till the curd dries up a little.
  • While serving, add the paneer cubes and slit green chilies. Adjust seasoning, stir for about 2 minutes on low flame. Serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 250 grams paneer - cut into small cubes
  • 2 tablespoons Ginger-garlic paste 
  • 100 grams curd - beat well till smooth 
  • 50 ml Cooking oil
  • 75 grams onions - chopped finely
  • 4 green chilies - chopped
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 2 teaspoon amchur 
  • 3 green chilies - cut lengthwise into 4 pieces 
  • Salt to taste

Achaari Masala 

  • 2 teaspoons aniseeds
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds 
  • A pinch of fenugreek seeds 
  • ½ teaspoon onion seeds 
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
