Preparation Method :
- Grind green chilies, onions, ginger and jeera to a fine paste.
- Fry paneer to a golden brown colour.
- Heat the oil, add in onion paste, sauté for 2-3 minutes until onions turn light brown.
- Add mashed khoya followed by the tomato puree with water. Cook on low heat until khoya turns light brown.
- Add in red chili powder and garam masala and adjust the seasoning.
- Cook on low heat till the gravy is thick and oil separates.
- Add paneer, cook for a few more minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with some sliced almonds.
INGREDIENTS
- 200 grams khoya (dried whole milk)
- 200 grams paneer (cottage cheese) - cut into small cubes
- 2 onions
- 2 tablespoon tomato puree
- ½ teaspoon red chili powder
- ½ teaspoon garam masala
- 1" ginger piece
- 2 green chilies
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 50 ml IDHAYAM sesame oil
- 200 ml water
- Salt to taste
