ALOO MUTTER PANEER CURRY

Preparation Time :
15 minutes

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Grind onion, garlic and ginger.
  • Heat oil in a kadai, add the ground paste to the pan and sauté till lightly browned, stirring frequently.
  • Add potatoes, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder  and  salt  along with  ¼ cup of water and bring to boil.
  • Simmer, cover and cook. When the potatoes are almost done, add  green peas .
  •  Cover and cook till the vegetables are done.
  • Add tomato puree, paneer and lemon juice. Cover and cook for another 2 minutes.
  • Serve hot with Chapathi or  roti.

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 medium Potatoes, peeled and cut into thin strips
  • 200 grams Green peas, shelled
  • 100 grams Cottage cheese (paneer),cut into cubes    
  • 1 medium Onion        
  •  1" piece Ginger         
  • 8 - 10 cloves Garlic    
  • 2 tablespoonsIDHAYAM Sesame Oil   
  • 2 teaspoons Cumin seeds       
  • Salt to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 2  teaspoons Coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 200 ml tomato puree   
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

    Peas are added after cooking of potato .. but atlast potatoes will be overcooked it seems it will be MaSh na
