QUICK FRIED PRAWNS

Preparation Time :
45 minutes

Cooking Time :
20 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Shell the prawns except for the very tail ends. Place the prawns in a bowl with the remaining ingredients, except for the garnish, and leave to marinate for 30 minutes.
  • Heat the wok and add the prawns and their marinade. Stir-fry briefly to heat the prawns.
  • Chop the onions roughly or cut into neat rounds. Sprinkle over the prawns to serve.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 kg cooked prawns in their shells
  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed 
  • 1 inch piece fresh ginger, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 5 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoon rice wine or dry sherry  
  • 1 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • Chopped spring onions to garnish
