PRAWNS WITH BABY ONIONS

Preparation Method :
- Heat the oil in a pan and add the cumin seeds. When they begin to change colour, stir in the onions and saute until they turn golden.
- Add the ginger and garlic, saute for 1 minute, then stir in the green chillies, turmeric, ground coriander and salt.
- Saute briefly before adding the shallots, tomatoes and half the coriander leaves. Saute for minutes.
- Add water and cook for a further 2 minutes, then stir in the prawns. Cook, uncovered, for 5 minutes or until the prawns are almost done.
- Add the yogurt, garam masala and remaining coriander leaves. Simmer for 5 minutes and serve.

- 3 tablespoons IDHAYAM sesame oil
- 2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 4 large onions, chopped
- 2 teaspoon minced ginger
- 2 teaspoon minced garlic
- 6 green chillies, chopped
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 tablespoon ground coriander
- 20 onions
- 4 medium-sized tomatoes, quartered
- 6 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander leaves
- 20 medium-size prawns, shelled and deveined
- 5 tablespoons natural low-fat yogurt
- 2 teaspoon garam masala powder
