Preparation Method :
- Grind the ginger and garlic to a fine paste and combine with the tamarind pulp, cumin, chilli powder, turmeric, salt and rice flour in a bowl.
- Blend ½ tablespoon of the olive oil into the mixture, and use this to marinate the prawns for at least 2 hours, preferably in the fridge.
- Heat the remaining oil in a pan, add the marinated prawns with the marinade and cook for 1 minute on a high heat.
- Turn the prawns over and cook for another minute. Reduce the heat and cook for a further 2-3 minutes, turning the prawns occasionally to ensure they are done evenly.
- Remove the prawns from the pan and drain on kitchen paper. Sprinkle with the lemon juice and serve.

- 2 tablespoons red chilli powder
- ½ teaspoon ground turmeric

- 4 tablespoons rice flour
- 1½ tablespoons IDHAYAM sesame oil
- 500 grams medium-size prawns, shelled and deveined
- 1½ tablespoons lemon juice
