MASALA PRAWNS

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil in a pressure cooker.
  • Add the onions and sauté till it turns light brown in colour.
  • Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté till the raw smell goes off.
  • Add the chilli powder, the tomatoes, the tomato purée, salt, curd, coriander leaves and cook till the oil separates.
  •  Add the prawns and cook over medium heat till the prawns are cooked well.
  • Sprinkle garam masala powder over the prawns and serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 500 grams medium sized prawns, shelled and deveined       
  • 2 tablespoons IDHAYAM Sesame Oil
  • 2 Onion, finely chopped        
  • 1 teaspoon ginger- garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
  • 50 grams Fresh coriander leaves, chopped         
  • 2 medium Tomato, chopped
  • 4 tablespoons Tomato puree  
  • Salt to taste    
  • 2 teaspoons curd        
  • ½ teaspoon Garam masala powder
