Preparation Method :
- Heat the oil in a pressure cooker.
- Add the onions and sauté till it turns light brown in colour.
- Add the ginger-garlic paste and sauté till the raw smell goes off.
- Add the chilli powder, the tomatoes, the tomato purée, salt, curd, coriander leaves and cook till the oil separates.
- Add the prawns and cook over medium heat till the prawns are cooked well.
- Sprinkle garam masala powder over the prawns and serve hot.
INGREDIENTS
- 500 grams medium sized prawns, shelled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons IDHAYAM Sesame Oil
- 2 Onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon ginger- garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon Red chilli powder
- 50 grams Fresh coriander leaves, chopped
- 2 medium Tomato, chopped
- 4 tablespoons Tomato puree
- Salt to taste
- 2 teaspoons curd
- ½ teaspoon Garam masala powder
