KING PRAWNS WITH ONIONS AND CURRY LEAVES

Cooking Time :
15 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Heat the oil in a wok or heavy pan and fry the onions with the curry leaves and onion seeds for about 5 minutes.
  • Add the diced green and red chillies, followed by the prawns. Cook for about 5 minutes , then add the ginger and salt.
  • Add the fenugreek leaves, cover and cook for a further 2 minutes before serving.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 medium onions, sliced thinly
  • 1 tablespoon Cooking oil
  • 5-7 curry leaves
  • ½  teaspoon onion seeds
  • 1 fresh green chilli, seeded and diced
  • 1 fresh red chilli, seeded and diced
  • 14 frozen cooked king prawns (jumbo shrimp), thawed and peeled
  • 1 teaspoon shredded fresh root ginger
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh fenugreek leaves
