Preparation Method :
- Mix the paprika, ginger, yogurt, and salt to taste. Pour this mixture over the prawns and leave to marinate for 15-20 minutes.
- Heat the oil in a wok or heavy pan and fry the onions with the fennel seeds and a piece of cinnamon stick.
- Lower the heat and then add garlic and chili powder, Stir over until well mixed.
- Add the peppers and stir fry gently for 5 minutes.
- Remove from the heat and transfer to a warm serving dish, discard the cinnamon.
- Preheat the grill to medium. Put the prawns in a grill pan or flame-proof dish and place under the heat to get a char grilled effect.
- Add to the onion mixture, garnish with the coriander and serve.

- 50 grams natural (plain) low fat yogurt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon grated fresh root ginger
- 14 frozen cooked king prawns (jumbo shrimp), thawed and peeled
- 1 tablespoon Cooking oil
- 3 medium onions, sliced
- ½ teaspoon fennel seeds, crushed
- 1 piece cinnamon stick
- 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 medium yellow (bell) pepper, seeded and roughly chopped
- 1 medium red (bell) pepper, seeded and roughly chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh coriander (cilantro) leaves, to garnish
- Salt
