Preparation Method :
- Heat the oil in a saucepan until it is very hot, then add the onions and fry them until they are golden brown.
- Reduce the heat and gradually add all the spices, stir-fry for about 2 minutes and add the red and green pepper.
- Add in the fresh coriander and lemon juice to taste. Then add the king prawns and stir-fry gently.
- Lower the heat, cover and cook for about 5-7 minutes, check and stir occasionally. Serve hot.
INGREDIENTS
- 5 tablespoons Cooking oil
- 3 medium onions, peeled and sliced
- 1 teaspoon ginger root, diced and crushed
- 1 teaspoon chilli powder
- 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ red pepper, sliced
- ½ green pepper, sliced
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh coriander
- lemon juice to taste
- 10 king prawns shelled
