MINCED LAMB WITH CURRY LEAVES AND CHILLI

Serves :

Preparation Time :
20 minutes

Cooking Time :
30 minutes

Preparation Method :

  • Mix with the garlic, ginger and spices with lamb in a mixing bowl.
  • Heat the oil in a heavy pan and fry the onions with the curry leaves and green chillies.
  • Add the lamb and salt to the onions and stir-fry for at least 5 minutes.
  • Add the tomatoes, coriander and chillies and stir-fry for another 2 minutes. Serve hot.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tablespoon Cooking oil
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 9 curry leaves
  • 6 fresh green chillies
  • 400 grams  lean minced (ground) lamb
  • 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh root ginger
  • 1 teaspoon chilli powder
  • ¼ teaspoon ground turmeric
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tomatoes, peeled and quartered
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander (cilantro)
