MINCE WITH POTATOES AND PEAS

Preparation Method :
- Heat the oil in a frying pan, add the onions and cook until soft. Add the spices and fry for about 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in the minced beef with little water if needed and cook until very well browned.
- Bring a saucepan of water to the boil, add the potatoes and salt to taste.
- Simmer to low flame, cover and cook gently for 3-5 minutes, then add the peas.
- Continue cooking until the potatoes and peas are tender.
- Drain the potatoes and peas and stir into the mince mixture until well combined. Serve hot.
INGREDIENTS
- 225 grams small potatoes, quartered
- 550 grams shelled peas
- 550 grams minced beef
- 50 ml Cooking oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons ground coriander
- ½ teaspoon turmeric
- 1 inch piece fresh root ginger, finely chopped
- 1 chilli, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- Salt, to taste
